This update seems lit | RIP Map Editors

Finally getting rid of that century old ui. Japan's ui looked so much better imo and we finally got it.
Soccer mode might be finaly coming cause I think that's what that picture was hinting at.
Red Storm looks brutal af

Both UI's look like ass.
The Soccer Box is pretty decent.
Red Storm seems kinda op in a way.
Flamekiller already said this about Map/Retexture Editors.

Revamped UI: As a lot of you have guessed, we've got the new UI!

 

How?

 

To me, they basically fixed a bunch of minor complaints, and then did something stupid to make a MAJOR complaint.
New ui? That's nice.
The new portraits for Shaman and Android? Very nice.
New map? Awesome.
New super-grabby scroll that probably won't work very well in-game due to the basic issue of lag causing grab moves like Aikido's KKPP / KKPK or Parkour's last kick to not work? Eh....

And then we get that forced update thing and it's like..... Why? The only reason I feel they did it was either to try and stop people from bypassing the (unnecessary) censoring system, or because Nimonix was jealous of the map retextures and soundpacks we've been using that are 100% better than the default textures and sounds.
It's a huge middle finger to everyone who liked modifying their RF experience, and I hate it. This overshadows any nice thing they added this update.

Heck, I'd be like this even if we had gotten new Android clothing and exocores.

 

This. I'll miss playing on Tiny's sunset moon that map was beautiful.

Make me more interesting is that they stopped the hacker from the nszman. ima blame Rodia for handing out. The new bypass is coming soon anyways. Yea they are jealous of us because we raped their nszman.


But ima worry about shaman. i like old one not new one. if i see some funny thing. then ima ddosing nimonix for racist us.

 

Can't you just replace/delete the files after launcher updates stuff?
Its easy to make a custom launcher to automatically replace files everytime you load RF.

 

I wonder what they did to Aikido and Dambe though if they fixed they glitch crap then im buying it but doubt it cause lag op
