[Discussion] Asura..

It is pretty rough to master. It has a VERY strict timing unlike other scroll do that. I don't like it. It's bitching me and it tried to break my dam precious keyboard. What's your thought on asura the styles playing? I don't like it at all. That juggle is like you have to get your ass fastest than you catch that dam train. That angle is so utterly ugly it's like you cringey. I like the way is that counter and alt nanmnu more than all useless ugly combo.

It's difficult to use, and that is precisely why i like it so much.

I dig it. Pretty fun scroll to use. What I don't like is the juggle launcher. For one, you can't predict well since the juggle launcher's second hit has 2 inputs. You can also get avoided easily and you'll be left open after using the launcher. I also hate how it's kinds difficult to land hits after the juggle launcher. But as a whole, Asura is a pretty fun scroll. It's good for edging but definitely not useful for 1v1 unless you don't plan on using the PK juggle launcher at all.
As for the alternative nanmu, it's actually not that bad after you get the hang of it. I think I've gotten it down more or less

It's definitely a pretty interesting scroll.
Personally, I don't like it too much, since I can't combo exocore moves with its more reliable(?) launcher, the KP.
Like, you can't even use Crazy Vulcan or Demonic Spear to follow it up. It 100% has to be a stationary punch. Not to mention, if you want to use the punch combo for the juggle, you need to move up after the first punch, since trying to move up before the first punch results in a failure, and at that point, you're better off just using kG P to hit 'em with the ground hit. ;v

Oh, one thing I thought of recently for it, though: Someone check and see if two Asura users can infinite someone between themselves with kG P.

repeat (Might not work, but I have no idea if the kG counts as a "first hit" or not. )

Here's a couple of hints for people looking to main this.

You're not supposed to be using the K P launcher often. Your counter is a launcher.

The scroll is hard to drift with, but your KG P has 360 degree coverage, can send people over fences, and comes out fast. Your KG K can be angled and sends you a short distance away from where you started.

Your pk has a hitbox that reaches slightly behind you.
