You cannot trade the items that already exist in your inventory, but you can trade stuff, by purchasing them through the shop. That way Redfox can still profit off the system. It's pretty much the same trading we always known, but without the scamming hassle, since the trading system allows the player to disagree the trades when the other trader tries to be a snake. And since the Trade System can be abused, we could have another system where you have to link your username to another username (1 at a time). And this cannot be unlinked without using a 2nd verification password similar to the resell password.
For inventory trades, for that to be reasonable, I think that this type of trading should cost RC. Like an [inventory trading voucher]. But I still think inventory trades are op af The vouchers would cost like.....1000RC. Cuz people would be trading rares around for inventory trades mainly, anyway might even cost more too
And the whole idea behind the username linking, is that you can only trade to the linked username If a player wishes to trade someone else, they can cancel it by their confirming their 2nd verification password, and then putting in a new username once the 2nd verification password is confirmed It's meant to prevent hackers from stealing items once successfully logged in
You mean only, they won't support currency trades. No one will actually spend alot on spenders if they can do currency trades.
- Inventing inventory trades won't and shouldn't happen. The only exception could be unresellable items. But then trades with these items would need a RC cost attached to them - maybe 150-300 RC (or better: just make them resellable somehow...) - Currency trades won't be introduced. Why not just do it like that: You got a special room/pop up/whatever, which shows your trading partner and you. Both players can choose single or multiple items and submit their choice, so that the trading partner can check if he/she wants to accept to the trade (attach a password request to that). In order to be able to submit, you need to enter a PW as well, so that you can't just enter for fun as a stranger and trade everything. If both players agree twice, then the items will be transferred. The End.
Stop having any hopes regarding E-Sports - this will not happen... ...unless a very rich guy appears and gets some proper servers and a dev team.
You can set yourself a life goal: Get filthy rich in order to save an almost dead game. Sounds like a plan to me duh pls let it have sth to do with furries
That doesn't make sense. You can't trade items you already have but you can only trade what you're about to buy? You'd be buying the items either way.
It's just the trade we've always known. Gifting each other It's very likely for Currency/Inventory trades to not happen, because it would harm spenders and stuff pretty much what Flamekiller said There would probably be a new [trade] button alongside the [buy] and [gift] button in the shop. That's probably how it would work
? Why would it harm spenders? People would still be spending money to buy the rc content even if they will trade it to someone else. That makes no sense to say people will not do spenders because of trading. If someone wants **** from spenders then they will stock up on RC and spend it.
They won't buy so much RC if they add a currency trade option. Not everyone saves rc saves until spenders, some buy rc as soon as they see spenders. Top spenders shouldn't go to someone that didn't actually spend $ on this game. I only see Item trade happening.
OK. I'm all for item-only trading. I get the whole being against currency trading but that's not what @Shana was saying at all
Well regarding item trades: A trade involving old pre-existing items does not give any new profit to Redfox. No new items need to be spent, because someone else has it. The spenders would be less enticing when rares can be exchanged around so easily. The spenders made a lot of sense, when there was a huge demand for rares, and are not accessible at all to a lot of players. With item trades, you can guarantee more people being less interested in the spenders, as they can easily get those rares through trades.
