Vale Tudo has potential to be Another

I was browsing different fighting games such as Tekken, Street Fighter, and Virtua Fighter and stumbled upon this character with Vale Tudo's stance (on RF) in her offensive stance. Virtua Fighter 4 was my first fighting game i ever played yet I didn't know she existed until now. I was more into Kage and Lion Rafale. =p



I'm presenting to the community an idea. This is not an official suggestion otherwise i would have this on the suggestion section of the forums. MAYBE if the community likes the idea, I or whoever else can create that thread and put together an upgraded Vale Tudo.

From what I've seen out of the 3 Another scrolls they follow a certain way of beating down their opponents.
Another Baguazhang beats their opponents with long nasty strings of multi hit combos.
Another Serpent focuses on pressure with it's extended counter time and punishes the opponent if they slip up even a bit, with a combo that kicks them far away.
Another Infinite Ninjitsu surprises it's opponents with a quick 2 hit knock up and abuses them in the air with juggles that go wherever the ninja feels.

Another Vale Tudo would focus on it's punishing grabs!
So you would have a balance with all 4 scrolls having their own unique thing about them.
This scroll would also turn out to be a carat version of Krav Maga, kinda. YAY if that comes true! *-*

Here are the ideas!

KKPP with the last P input being a grab like Krav Maga's KPP/KPK inputs.

either ending result of that grab animation would be one of these 2


KKPK will end with a knee that knocks back.


Front grab would be simple and keeps your opponent close to take the next beating waiting for them when they wake up.


Back grab ideas. First one switches positions with your opponent and second one similar to Taekwondo SE


Counter ideas. They look epic.


Ground hit to show how brutal you are!


Credits to this video showing all her moves from Virtua Fighter 5. You may find better moves to implement, but the ones presented are the ones i liked so hmph! =p

Feel free to make a Vale Tudo variant for suggestions, just in case it doesn't happen. I have a feeling it's going to be Another Geumgangtu

I like the idea and how much time and effort you put into this and I would like for RedFox to choose Another Vale Tudo.. But if not could it atleast be Geumgangtu but either way both are two good old scrolls that they could use to make an upgraded version for.

Honestly I really like the idea and the combos that you have chose for it. Though I kinda do not like the Taekwondo SE Grab so make it different so that it'll be unique in it's own but overall everything else seems perfectly in place.

So, let's make it happen RedFox. You've have been doing good so far keep up the work.

I kinda been wanting to get vale tudo too. If they make another for it, I'd definitely buy it.

Why is the "suggestion" for Vale Tudo when everything here looks like Krav Maga? Either way I find it hilarious that in one day this got half the votes that Savate got in one year despite this having little to do with original Vale Tudo. lol

I totally approve of a carat grappling scroll tho! Maybe someday they or someone else will make Pankration or Brazilian Jujitsu.

I'm betting 5astros it's either Another Geumgangtu or Another Kenpo.

 

5astros says there will only ever be 4 Another Scrolls.

 

Most of the move sets are already in game. I can see them making it.

 

Ah yes, I did mention it! "This scroll would also turn out to be a carat version of Krav Maga" just with longer combos and different grab animations. Vanessa in the video i linked also displayed the "Counter -> P" option off Krav Maga, but didn't show this as it's already used on Krav Maga twice.


With the ideas i had in mind though...it'd probably end up an RC scroll and better off with a different name as I don't think they'd make so much available to carat users. But who knows! Maybe a change of heart from Nimonix or whoever in charge of scrolls?
I'm going to do some more research on Vale Tudo as my knowledge is only from Vanessa Lewis (Virtua Fighter), Craig Murduk (Tekken), and World Champion Vale Tudo fights on youtube. Never heard of Pankration so I'll check it out as well. =p

Shaolin Tiger feels like an upgraded Persona to me =x Gives me that swiping feel i liked with Persona's last punch.

Always have 3 reserve posts along with your thread post. You have a 20-image-limit, and a 10000 character limit (each letter and space = 1 character. It multiplies if you double space a new line, so avoid double spacing) per post.

Manipulating text color, font, and size actually counts as characters too, since the BBcodes are actually part of the character count
