Hello I am new to game and I have quite a good graphics card(nvidia GTX 970)as a result I'm getting around 2k frames per second which as a result makes the gpu whine quite a lot making it annoying without a headset. So does anyone know a way to lock fps since the option in the nvidia game panel does not actually work?
Rivatuner is buggy with 9d and nvida. My gtx 970 gets mad coil whine if i dont limit fps some how. Anyways with rivatuner it will make you get weird laag while turning around with nivida card. What you need to do is set application level to low and choose your fps (144 for me since i have a 144 hz monitor) then once you have loaded in turn detection level off. It will still cap the fps but without the laag.
