Scroll Name: Bushido Cost: 1050 RC Creator: SeeJest Note: This scroll is strongly based on Bushido Brown, a kung fu master and bodyguard for hire featured on the television show, "The Boondocks". Bushido emphasizes power, strength and precision, utilizing the Dragon, Rage and some lesser known fighting styles in it's own. The main idea behind this scroll, other than Bushido Brown is using the martial arts for ones own benefit, often monetary over the notions of honor and pride. Scroll Description: Created by an obscure Kung Fu Master turned bodyguard for hire, this style is the culmination of several martial art styles in which he practiced and mastered. Bushido utilizes quick, efficient movements to deliver strong and precise blows to confuse and overpower the enemy. Stance: Stance is very similar to Dragon's but with more movement in the legs and body in general. Ideally, it is a mix between Dragon and Rage stances. Every three seconds the hands flail like a cartoon Kung Fu master. See reference > Bushido Combo List - Seven Combos Grab: Bushido will utilize Agent's grab. 1 Hit Combo Combo Speed: Average 220 Damage Total Description: Quick Right-fist straight punch to foe's face, then a Right-fist L-punch to foes stomach causing a knock back. This scroll for the most part is based of Bushido Brown and the vibe and style he gives off during fighting. Give the link above a watch, it will help ya understand Bushido, the style, a little more. PROS: Strong delay between combos, fast reset to stance, combos finish at a quick to average speed, great angling capabilities, confuse foes with the start of combos. Extremely versatile. Several combos can knock foes over low fences. CONS: Combos fast but simple so somewhat easy to counter, reach is on the lower side except for a few exceptions (i.e. first punch, first kick and final hits in the combos). EXTRA 29/11/2017 I happened to have some time to work a bit more on the visualization of how the inputs flow together in Bushido, so decided to try and re-create them, won't make it in the final version most likely but wanted to show it nonetheless. Some inputs/animations shown below are changed, but the actions such as knock ups, knock backs and so on remain the same as the original details below. Enjoy! PPP PP[P] PPKK KKKKK KKG+K >>G G+K P G+K KK
Punch Combos Three Talon Claw Quick Punch Combo Movements don't vary too much from stance allowing a quick recovery after partial or full combo use. Delay is average between the hits in this combo. Due to the movement and close proximity of Bushido, this combo angles exceptionally well. Utilized for quick damage and knock back. 4 Hit Combo Combo Speed: Fast Damage: 80 - (90x2) - 140. 400 Damage Total. Description: Left-fist, back knuckle punch > Right-fist straight punch to stomach, while stepping in with right foot, followed by a Left-fist straight punch to stomach > Left-fist, back knuckle punch (knock back). Four Talon Claw Stunner Combo When fully charged this combo has a different result depending on if the hit foe is blocking or not. On non-blocking foes, the fully charged hit will stun, opening up an opportunity to juggle. On blocking foes, the fully charged hit will open up the foes block and cause them to stagger back holding their stomach (as if they were countered). The hit area on the stun is average and angles decently well. Note: Third GIF shown above is the charging animation. 4 Hit Combo Combo Speed: Moderate Damage: 80 - (90x2) - (200, fully charged on non-blocking foes) (140 on blocking foes). 460/400 Damage Total. Description: Left-fist, back knuckle punch > Right-fist straight punch to stomach, while stepping in with right foot, followed by a Left-fist straight punch to stomach > Left arm, low elbow to stomach (stun). Rising Fury Fencer Combo Recovery to original stance on the punches are fast but on the kicks are moderate, on the last kick the recovery is moderate to slow. Angling in this combo is not as great as the previous combos shown. Delay between the hits in this combo are average. Utilized for knocking foes over fences semi-quickly. Recovery after last kick is moderate speed to long. Note: The last kick is a Bruce Lee jump kick, this kick knocks back standing foes 1.5x the distance as airborne foes. 5 Hit Combo Combo Speed: Fast to Moderate Damage: 80 - (90x2) - 120 - 140 (200 on standing foes) 520/580 Damage Total. Description: Left-fist, back knuckle punch > Right-fist straight punch to stomach, while stepping in with right foot, followed by a Left-fist straight punch to stomach > Right-foot high kick, while turning clockwise (knocks foe airborne) > Left-foot jumping T-kick, while turning clockwise (180 degrees) (knock back).
KICK COMBOS RUSHING RIVER High-damage Long Combo Delay between the kicks in this combo are short. Angling capabilities are exceptional except on the last kick. The last hit angling capabilities are average but knocks back a tad farther than normal. Utilize this combo for high damage, confusion and knocking foes over low fences. Recovery is average but slower on the third, fourth and final kicks. 5 Hit Combo Combo Speed: Fast to Moderate Damage: 90 - 100 - 110 - 130 - 150/200 (200 on airborne foes) 580/630 Damage Total Description: Left-foot T-kick > Left-foot low ankle kick > Right-foot T-kick while turning clockwise (360) > Left-foot rising axe-kick (knocks foe airborne) > Left-foot powerful T-kick (fully extended leg) (knock back). Waterfall Reversal Launcher Combo Launching kick angles very well due to its close proximity when performed if the previous kick hit successfully. The delay in this combo is average, but short between the second and last kicks. The final input is two quick kicks, from the left foot then right. The right foot kick is the one that launches the foe. If the first of the two kicks in the G+K input miss, the foe is launched half as high. Note: The last hit utilizing both feet, launches hit foes extremely high. Higher than Dragon's launch but lower than Stalker's counter launch. 4 Hit Combo Combo Speed: Fast Damage: 90 - 100 - (70,80) 340 Damage Total Description: Left-foot high kick > Left-foot low ankle kick > Backwards one-handed somersault (utilizing both feet to launch foe, kick from the left then right foot) (launches). Important Note: The launching kick shown above is a backwards somersault, placing the right hand on the ground and utilizing both feet to launch. This launcher does not have much reach but does launch the foe extremely high when both kicks in the G+K input hit. The animation for this launch should be very similar to the GIF used (third kick in Abyss' KKKK combo) except the right hand is placed on the ground, somewhat similar to Sunmundo's launcher. Dragon Rush Dash Special A running high-kick to the chest/chin area. On use, three quick side steps are performed before the powerful kick which sends the hit foe a far distance. This kick is special because it is omni-directional, meaning the hit foe will be knocked back the same amount and way no matter if they are hit in the front, side or back. 1 Hit Combo Combo Speed: Fast to Moderate 250 Damage Total Description: Three quick foot side steps followed by a Left-foot powerful T-kick (knocking foes far). The result from the kick should be the same as what is shown in the GIF above, a knock back leading into a short roll. Hitting a foe will have the same result no matter if they are hit in the front, side or back. Note: This may seem strong but the three steps before the actual knocking back kick last half a second to a full second, allowing wary foes to move out of the way. This kick can hit multiple foes, but the hit box is small, meaning foes must be in extremely close proximity to all be hit. Twin Dragon Counter (alone) On success, shown above, perform two quick jabs to the foes stomach causing them to stagger back like a normal counter (right then left fist). The countered effect will effect the foe a small amount longer than an average counter. A few frames longer. 1 Hit Combo Combo Speed: Fast 180 Damage Total Description: Right-fist straight punch then Left-fist straight punch to stomach (causing foe to stagger back while holding their stomach in pain). Note: The punches for this counter and the the first punch in the long and launcher combo should be the same. (KPPKK and KPK) Tidal Wave Counter + Fencer Combo After successful counter, two kicks are performed, the first of which knocks foes airborne and the second knocks back. The delay in this combo is very short, to the point there pretty much isn't any delay possible. This combo does not angle well at all. 3 Hit Combo Combo Speed: Fast to Moderate Damage: 180 - 110 - 100/150 (150 on standing foes) 390/440 Damage Total Description: Right-fist straight punch then Left-fist straight punch to stomach > Right-foot high kick, while turning anti-clockwise (360) (knocks foe off the ground) > Right-foot T-kick (knock back). Note: The above kicks are essentially Muhon's fencing combo utilized in this counter as a fencer. Crashing Waters Counter + Grab Combo After successful counter, grab the countered foe, and throw them behind you. This combo angles exceptionally well but only can grab the foe you just countered. Delay in this combo is very short to none at all. Utilize for edging foes or simply grabbing them after a successful counter. 2 Hit Combo Combo Speed: Moderate Damage: 180 - 220 400 Damage Total Description: Right-fist straight punch then Left-fist straight punch to stomach > Grab: Grab back of foe's head with left hand then a Right-fist L-punch to stomach, followed by another Right-fist L-punch which transitions into picking up the foe over your head and throwing them behind you. Note: This counter grab will only work on the foe you just countered, other nearby foes wont be grabbed. This grab counter angles really well due to its small amount of movement. If you have gotten this far, thank you for reading! The ideas and whats already here for this scroll are pretty solid but if you have any input or suggestions or even criticism, I would love to hear them. Support Bushido's official release! I'll be adding and modifying as time goes on until the recent Scroll suggestion event! Please Support if ya feel'n Bushido's style.
^ The name Bushido was mostly from Bushido Brown, also a play on the meaning of Bushido which is an honor code among samurai, while the scroll itself throws the notions of honour away for power.
October 10th, 2016 Changes: Added punch to long combo, counter kick changed to launcher, counter punch (grab) added, cleaned up texts and images added. Changed up some of the combos and added some things I believe go with what I was initially trying to do with this scroll. You were right about it before more Kung Fu styled than Karate so I changed up the description to match. Still somewhat a work in progress, any thoughts and input is appreciated. Support if ya like eeet!
October 19th, 2016 Counter Changed: Changing counter to have a longer effect on countered foes, good reference is Dirty's grab which causes the foe to stagger back. (foe will instead clutch their stomach in pain as they stagger backwards after successful counter) Starting to finalize the Bushido's movements and damage (not really), will most likely make a new post, cleaned up to use as the hand-in for the scroll suggestion contest. Any thoughts and possible changes are appreciated and will be considered.
October 20th, 2016 Final kick in PPKK, fencer combo changed to angle much better. Descriptions cleaned up, preparing for post on contest post.

Bump. Any thoughts on the post just above is appreciated! Will be used for posting Bushido on the Contest thread.
Bushido is completed for the most part, except a few possible touch ups. Thanks for all the support and comments from everyone who did so.
