    Anyone like reading too?

What kind of books do you like to read?

    Manga?
    Light Novels?
    Newspapers?
    Web comics?
    Magazines?
    Non-fiction books?

I personally just read a lot of non-fiction books. I never touched a fiction book for more than 7 years.

I'm thinking of getting into fiction books though, since a lot of imagination comes out of them

Pretty much anything fictional. Last book I read willingly was Red Handed: The Fine Art of Strange Crimes and before that was The Thief Lord. Red Handed is one of my favorites and so is this series called Flora Segunda which is sort of like Harry Potter with a female protagonist. Its better than* Harry imo but I love both.

    This is an interesting thread.

I wouldn't have expected this many of the community to be into reading books at all; it's a nice surprise.
Fictional books are interesting that way. It feels as though you're in touch with the writer as they express themselves on every page. The same can be said for any piece of work really, as long as the writer put genuine effort into it.

Imagination and creativity is part of what makes it fun being human afterall.

I used to write a lot of stories when I was kid, cuz of those writing prompt exams. I just sucked at them, and I tried doing better at them, and ended up enjoying writing.

But every time I show my writing to a classmate they would cringe like crazy. And then I was like, "yeah if I written like I was talking to someone, like in the real world, then maybe it wouldn't be so cringy".

I ended up doing writings that had more connection to reality because of it.

The things I do as a kid really change the way I look at things in the long run. I think it's about time I started to question everything I did as a kid
