A question about scrolls...

Hey guys,

I want to ask you: What is your most favourite scroll in this game?


I am currently searching for "that" scroll myself and I want to hear your comments regarding that question. When it comes to me, I love scrolls that are super versatile and that give the user the feeling that he "grows into it". In OGP times, I played mostly with Zin TKD, but I don't want it this time - yet.

 

Agent

I even made a video guide on it. That video was done on my OGP account, Himeji. I had to start over in GC, but even though I had to start over, Agent is always available. It's the only scroll I needed to be content

the only perfect scroll would've been ice breaker's original suggestion + omni grab
just imagine shoot boxing with a ground hit, special counter, back grab, and more frontal range but slower

since that is totally not what ice breaker is i just use pro wrestling because i like to toss people

 

When I got to choosing a carat scroll, Red scorpion was my first carat scroll.

It's easily my most favorite carat scroll of all time. (Agent is still more awesome though)

This video is pretty much what got me excited about Red Scorpion. And I was a huge fan of Tony Jaa, and Red Scorpion just happens to have a similar Muay style as him. This isn't the best video for Red Scorpion, but it was fun to watch at the time. I was young lol

 

Ah. All the garbo with zin tkd. don't see that anymore

 

HumoLoco's favorite scrolls are

HumoLoco( cuz i like it.),
Black Hitman(because its close to S tier.),
Shadow Nijutsu(on 2nd nerf was pretty perfect, but not now anymore it's trash now.),
Shoot Boxing(a favor choice scroll for 1v1),
Black ZinTkd(cuz ima racist.),
Dragon(obv ima fan of bruce lee. the next bruce lee :> ),
Kingpin(cuz da street.),
Street(cuz da king street.),
and everything( too much to list em.)


nvm. All scrolls are trash expect black hitman.

 

Inferno

 

My favorite scroll is Buki. Because I made it and it defeated BlowJobJutsu scroll. Check it out and take it home with you! You'll have a fun time.

RC - Praying Mantis

Agent is very smooth looking, but I like Hitman a little bit more - don't decapitate me
Red Scorpion is a scroll I want to get some time later, but first I'll buy Metatron for carats, I guess.

I got Ice Breaker and I love it nonetheless. The first punch is no real punch though ^^

Right, I'll just take it - nothing easier than that

Aikido is awesome - got it from an event box

Now, I'd just need to somehow be able to get it...

 

Zin Taekwondo.

 

Personally, my favorite scroll is... Kobudo. It's versatile, has a long counter, a fencer, 2 juggles a pretty safe poke... And it's only 13k carats. Only problem is it's elementalist only and does low damage. It's fun to slap people with it.
If you're looking for a beast scroll, hitman black is ridiculous, or red storm for non-rares because it has a fun, fairly flashy moveset and the launcher has bananas range on it, plus solid damage.

These are all, obviously, personal preference and opinion, but look em up / try em out if you can.

Mach Knuckle. Such a fun scroll and it's kind of hard to use since people can block mid launcher.

YES! I knew that I forgot some scroll...

Exile is just so badass looking - I'll buy it next, no matter if it is terrible

Exile's first 2 kicks is what really stands out for me though

Roundhouse kicks like exile's have arc hitboxes, and they can land very easily. And the punch combo has 100% arc hitbox attacks.

It has very slow punches, but I end up using KKPK + kG for most of the damage anyways. Exile's punches were never meant to pressure at all; it's better for catching drifters that are trying to walk behind you
