I have always understood it to be for instance like if a mob is Blue title it does yin damage has yin res, so to combat it, you would equip yang dmg to go thru it's yin res because yang does 100% dmg increase against it. However, yin res does that: resists yin. In short, the 2nd chart is only talking of dmg. Yang does +100% damage to Yin res, but each element res resists just that.
so I would appreciate if one of you cs kunlun grinders tell me....because I was testing it out...and i could not tell the differece...what resist are needed
' thank you for reply I tested your theory but still took massive amount of damage with both yang and body resist on red named
How much resistance do you have? I went to e temple on H7 hybrid and 200 yin res and still was not enough for me to feel comfortable. And those mobs are 50 lvls over me. KL mobs on CS lvl, I don't know how people do it, except with 300+ res? I don't know lol
Mob - Need Yin Resist and Yang dmg. Mob - Need Yang Resist and Yin dmg. Mob - Need Phys Resist and Soul dmg. Mob - Need Soul Resist and Phys dmg. Some mobs have different resistance to other yybs - and you´ll have to test which helps. I.e. Hounds are Yin-type mob and has -100% yang resist and 50% soul resist. I.e. Phoenix are Yang-type mob, and has -100 yin resist and 50% yang resist. Resist: Dungeon superior set. (GCM or SrS especially) RBK relic Resist ornaments Healer passive party resist mastery + resist buff Event bags HG9 Boots Resist pills. KL resist epi / kylin epi. Mobs do normal dmg besides YYBS dmg, and some mobs have effect dmg like bleed. To tank well, you need a balance between: Resist = dmg reduction for yybs dmg Defence = dmg reduction for normal dmg HP-return : hp leech + dmg + yybs It is possible to tank hounds and demonfaced spiders even at CS with proper HP-return, even with as little as 250 resist.
