Nothing happens after I hit "Launch Game"

I'm running windows 7, so not a windows 10 problem.

I used to play this game back in the day, when it was an Acclaim game. Saw it on steam, and thought what the hell I'll relive my childhood memories...

I've downloaded through steam, and through the website. Both have the same problem.

After I run the launcher and hit start, the "nProtect GameGuard" thing loads, and then nothing happens at all.

I've tried to run it straight from the folder itself (running the NINEDRAGONS.exe file) and I have the same exact problem.

I'm running win 7 64bit.

Did you try running game as admin from folder?

 

Yes, and I have also enabled everything through my firewall.

I've tried running it in windowed mode, and compatibility mode for XP. Still same problem.

 

Have you try to re-download again yet? If it still have problem. Please update here for continue help.

 

- Also have you tried to disable any security system?
- Gameguard also sometimes can detect any "Hack system" installed in your pc. Please make sure you don't have any pirate softwares. (This is how I solved mine)

 

I don't have any pirated software, besides my operating system, heh.

I've tried to reinstall multiple times, and then install through steam again as well. Same problem. Not sure what is wrong.
