    Does anyone know from the black side what are the ranges in this version?

    SF smashes have 5.0 range , and some 1.9 range.

    SF has also 0.9 range skills, like active.

    Ah yea that was the issue, I used to play SF and knew there was a drawback. When chasing nukers, you literally have to clip the target to hit him with active .. sucks.
