- That is because the attacker was closer to the front, its just like how people use the first punch to turn sideways facing players for a grab. - If you are knowledgeable of turn blocking you will still have a hard time, unless the user is just spamming the main punch combo, as "Offshoot" can't be turn block and worst the 2nd input lifts the opponent for a fencer. So now you might miss your chance to panic because you were trying to turn block the infinite but the FL User when for the alternative punch combo that might edge you. - Basically "Deadhand" on the back, sets the opponent up for an easily possible infinite, high damage, hammering away at back guards or panic predicting/forcing after launching the first punch again, because "Offshoot" is basically a two hit and to top that all off turn blocking is only going to work 50% of the time after the 1st punch and the other 50% is you probably missing your panic and getting fenced. side note: You are stating that unless you have fore knowledge of this concept you shouldn't play fighting games, if that is the case then nobody should be here as fighting games have learning curves and that concept is part of it.
Thats the whole point of the PKK combo tho; if they arent paying attention to animations and only focusing on turn-blocking they are punishing themselves. Galdeira and I are the most knowledgeable people on RFNA when it comes to scrolls. Trust us, we know what we are doing. ;p
