The game was working fine before.. then when i started it again today, it just stuck at "Loading XKERNEL..." floating box that appear after loading gameguard and before init screen appear. Here are the things that i had done in trying to fix it: > Start the game as administrator ... (not working) > Set the compatibility to Win7 ... (not working) > Deleting GameGuard folder ... (not working) > Disabling AV & Firewall ... (not working) > Uninstall-reinstall graphics & sound drivers ... (not working) > Uninstall-reinstall the game ... (not working) > Start the game through Steam ... (not working) I've run-out of an idea as how to fix it anymore.. so if anyone has experience the same problem, could you an insight how to solve this? Thanks in advance!
Just today, has been trying (on/off) about 6 hours now. It was working fine the last time i played about 13 hours ago..
Ah sorry.. it just stuck there, won't move on to next window which is the init / game interface windows...
Yeah, the cursor show active process.. and the TaskMan or Process Explorer shows NINEDRAGONS.exe as not responding..
kk will try it.. though if it doesn't solve the problem, i'm not sure about sending ticket now, coz it's weekend and probably won't get response until monday. anyway thanks a lot for responding and the alternatives solutions.
Ok.. I'm not really sure what did it, but i just decided to try re-install the game once again. At first, it still stuck at that screen, so i force closed it again and deleted the GG folder again (coz i had always strongly suspected it was GG that caused it). Then started the game, and voila! it goes through.. really baffles me.
