No, not for the characters in game, but for the game itself.
You can't run an on line game server with some Lap Top you got at a Christmas Wal-Mart sale. No, No, No
    It's not going to work.
You need real gear if you are going to host a network game, good servers that can take the load of a few 100 players going at it. and no, not an IPad.
Please, sent a little more money and get some gear and take care of the shut down issues.

And while you're at it, don't put the server in the baby's room just to save on space, where the child might trip over and pull on the wires and cables while he's trying to play with his blocks or legos.
    Com'on guys, get it together.

The server isn't the issue, most of the time the issue comes from gameguard. This server is pretty stable, coming from the UK I don't notice any latency issues.

Hello Child, I am also from the UK and have recently changed ISP.
I was with SKY and am now with BT.
When I was with SKY I would miss lots, I have since tested it with BT and it has cut the misses by half.
The latency is definitely a factor in whether you hit or miss.
