So about these boxes. I have a somewhat stupid suggestion.

Instead of cycling through them and releasing them every update as "new content", why not just keep them permanently in the shop? I don't see why they're just randomly put in and removed if they're just gonna come back a month or two later.

 

it gets people to spend their money before the box disappears, and they may never know when the box will come back

Loot boxes are always some bs it's just like you would pay 100$ to get couple packs of weed and most of them are just fake weed . Same is with useless crap that is in these boxes .

What's about sumo? They trashed sumo. It is why no more rare.

 

Should be the case with older rares I agree.

However, even older rares are subject to the same marketing scheme as Lolibot14 just said. Sad, especially since its the same price after nerf and being outdated.

 

To close off this thread;

Keeping rare boxes in shop doesnt make them rare. It just filters the item in a way. Think of it as if you wanted sumo, You will pay more than 1k RC. But you can maybe get it for 400 RC. Its Lottery, Many will get it for 8k RC lol.

Then again, Most items even rare are pretty much not guaranteed to be top tier. Hear me out, Alkane and Verm Swords are nasty OP. Tactical bow is also OP however and so are other shop items. I can justify people pulling for those exocores, sage master, parkour, blood and yellow dragon, Cause they are at the top of the rankings list. However most BF LE or Rares are shop scroll level. They aren't rare, They are just less common. If you wanted to drop 100$ because someone is showing it off, You could do it at any time and get it.

If it were to leave and you wanted to have it however, Not knowing its return and losing the chance to use it or get attention etc, You will pull right now instead of in 6months of thinking. 6 Months is alot of time to for example for new items to come out, being better and getting those.


I would use Shoot boxing, Eagle Claw or Black turtoise for example over Inferno, Telos, Fearless and Sumo any day of the week. The overall performance of those rare scrols aren't really all that. They might have animations or uniqueness, But I personally wouldn't want to even own them unless its RARE.
