Assuming a new player, without high-end gear: - to farm event drops, solo in low-level dungeons: Healer - to farm event drops, on low-level maps: Hybrid & Nuker (aoe spamming). - to farm materials (map and most dungeons), solo: Healer - to farm higher-level materials (KL and high-level dungeons) Nuker & CK Hybrid. (Disclaimer: I have nothing against other roles.) Your question is kinda vague, and truly can not be answered with merely one role, unless you define, or clarify your intentions, or priorities (farm, level etc...)
... for the higher-level mobs/maps & dungeons. However, Hybrids (and all other roles) are still constantly ask me to help them do dungeon run. p.s. if Tao, DL, please say hi to KP from CheKong ;D

Haha maybe they dont know how to play or have enough gear, but my hyb or nuker basically can solo any dungeon easily LLGC under 1.5min for fast run or 15min for full run potala purp 5min potala green 10min potala red 15min. icy red dungeon 15min-18min well i got a IS6 war too but sadly its not fun to bring him to potala or LLGC but the dungeon below all good n maybe icy even a bit better so far warrior quite constant under 15min for icy red
Well healer buff is really good compare to the past but PVE damg i really cant take it... but its a fun role
to farm event drops, ccd (get mil) - nuker is the best, next is 2b I dont know how you can put healer on farming? With 3 AOEs, nuker and 2b can easily clear mobs in 1 second

I agree (see my original post) if the CK Hybrid or nuker has mid-to-high level gear. However, I still stand by my thought that a new player (no access to gear other than what they've earn!), low-end geared healer to solo (no healer party!) low-level dungeons (IE: purple pass CoF, VoH, GCM...). I based my decision on my history/experience with my (only 1 main) low-to-mid-level geared healer, up to HG8'ish. I never asked for help/party. I do mean never! Now, if talking about higher-level, geared to the hilt ... yes, CK-roles once again (hearkening back to asura) are best---my reply would have been completely different if talking about vet players, whom have multiple account/alts, whom have mid-to-high end gear, &/or access to league gear, &/or in healer party...
