Stop the Ddos

The Streamer MythicalGeek is being ddosed all the time when he streams. Please upgrade RF security so he can do giveaways and make content for others.

How are they getting his IP address? Are they stealing it somehow? Cuz if so, I don't know what i can say to help that

Ok I just found out that IP addresses can be stolen just by playing Rf. What a scary world we live in

Its not hard to get IPs but VPNs help so. I don't understand how someone could be hit off this often unless they really rubbed someone the wrong way.

 

They've already patched the old method for viewing IPs. 3rd party programs are what people are using these days. Should probably invest in a Vpn if people are hitting him off.

 

This thread is stupid. The kid said yesterday on the forums that he gives his skype out on stream. In other words, HE'S THE ONE GIVING OUT HIS IP. There's no "boosting RF security" when the problem has nothing to do with RF, it has everything to do with lack of knowledge.

 

They didn't patch anything. I can still go into a room and pull every IP in there.

 

do you realize how easy it is to catch an ip on this game
plus you stream so it's even easier to see what room you're in and track you down

a vpn is the only way to stop it, but you said you were on a vpn just now and I saw the stream go down so obv whatever the **** you were using is complete ****

anyway there is no way to stop this ****
either drop a stack on a quality vpn, do more secure rooms, or stop streaming altogether

 

if you are referring to resource monitor, it still works to this day. don't know why people say this

skypw resolving has been patched since January. Microsoft now hides ips from other skype members, i.e. resolvers

 

The loading screens have the, "if you use third party programs, you will be permanently banned", so I was expecting that the client itself would boot off the person the same way we got this message:

Lol I'm not saying I could, but I could get any IP right now. Gameguard is really finicky. Some programs it'll pick up and others it won't.

I tried it recently and it wasn't working. I guess Redfox was wrong then. They told me Nimonix addressed it and fixed it. Also you can still resolve some IPs.
