Also ppl reccomend proko, sycra, and draw with jazza YouTube channels. Sorry. I'm tired from doomsday blueprin-! I mean being busy with things to give my full critique like I promised. So I'll be back.
Yeah....I am not an expert at art. And in fact far from it. But I have been trying a lot dispite the fact I may not have any idea what I'm doing. But I've amassed so many books over the years hoping that they would help me draw the way I want....but many people say this. 1.Learn the basics of art. 2.once you learn the rules of art you will be able to break them with practice 3. Its tempting, really tempting to immediately attempt to draw in a specific style, but sadly everyone says you gotta learn realistic art before you can stylize it. As for that book. Dispute it covering figures and anatomy its not for beginners at all. If you don't find something that clicks to you yet I will most likely be searching at the moment.
Another word of advice. I learned the hard way that how to draw manga books may look pretty, they aren't always informative. They give you a few pictures of steps for a single character and then leave you on your own. (Assuming you want a mango style, that is.)
Proof. Ok so dispite the fact that i told you what i said earlier, i still hold on to these because i hope to squeeze every bit of aestetic(prob. Not how you spell it?) Out of them one day. Now i do like the mark crilley books, but even he says you gotta learn anatomy eventually.
I occasionally watch Mark Crilley and MikeyMegaMega's tutorials, but mainly Mikey. (first of all, good anatomy, second of all, nice oppai )
This thread must live. Lmao. Yes, the creative corner exists but no exact room for discussion...or is there? Anyways, im busy atm, but im still searching for more resources. Google is your best friend, but sometimes google pulls up alot of junk, so you wade through it to get to the good stuff
