i'm going to need some of your resources, since i lost them all when I transfered over to my new pc. cause this mug is a solid 10/10 sexy piece hnnnnnnnNNNNNNNNG no but really its really well done. 9/10 ; D and im srs give me resources
It's good but I don't think the C4D transitioned well it feels out of place on the bottom right those little "splurts" and near the right arm. Maybe using another C4D. 8/10
The text looks incredulously plain in comparison to the SIG. Also, why did you randomly splatter red on the L? The perspective for the man-to-moon is also a bit janky. If the man is larger than the moon should not be as big in the background. The rest looks neat. 5.5/10
I've never been great with adding text to sigs once they're finished, I actually didn't notice the splattering - i'll probably fix it later Please elborate what you mean by the moon aspect being janky, I don't fully understand what you mean.
The size ratio between the man and the moon is completely fine and should not be grounds for lowering rating, due to the fact that maybe that's what he wants for his sig? He's not following your "rules", he's following his own. What I mean by that is, for this sig maybe he didn't want to be so focused on realism and size perspectives. The moon behind the character looks good to me. Also, the text is indeed plain but sometimes plain text works nicely. Only thing I dont like about the text is that it's not completely smooth, I can see pixelation on the edges. Other than that, the sig overall is definitely not a 5.5 lol. But this is all a matter of opinion, to each their own... I give it an 8.5/10
I don't know what mindset you were in when you wrote this so I will not address it. However, ratio is very important. If you have a character that is supposed to be in-front of a moon, you cannot have both entities be the same size. That is not my rule, that is the rule of ratio, which goes beyond a forum signature to actual pieces of art. If you want to be critiqued as a designer, you will accept feedback as a designer. Do not make excuses for yourself or you will not improve. The moon and character share almost exact size despite the moon being the background setting for your character. With the perspective you provided being the moon front and center with the character slapped on top, it looks wrong. You fixed it in your second version.
But you can't judge it by a logical sense. You have to judge it based on the art. For example if you take my current signature, are you gonna say that the ribbons makes no sense flying out of no where and where the heck is my background etc. You have to look at the creativity.
