Why RF on Steam could be a problem

I really would like RF to be on steam, It would most likely increase the amount of people that play RF which could result in more people buying astros leading to more money for redfox and maybe some other advantages but there is also some issues that I think could happen if rumble fighter came to steam.

More hackers. With a bigger community I think the number of hackers is going to increase depending on the population growth of RF which can be a real pain because who wants to deal with hackers?

More lag. With players teleporting left and right as it is, with more people connecting to the RF servers I think that this will increase the amount of lag greatly in the game making the game almost unplayable. This is unless better servers are brought in then this might not be a possible problem.

What do you guys think?

Why are you mentioning this now though lol. And lag is more of a player thing but it'd be idiotic to not want hundreds or even thousands of new players because some of them might lag, hack, etc. Every community has a few of one or the other, if not both.

 

It won't necessarily increase players and since majority of steam players are eu rf will won't have any success on there.

Good point but I did not say that I did'nt want more people to join (in fact I actually would think it's awesome if more people joined rf) and yes I know that lag is a player thing but its just a possibility. I just wanted to share my thoughts. Also I am sharing this now because I just felt like it with these things in mind. To be honest I was not even aware of the fact this game might be going to steam because I dont read the forums much or play very much

No, I don't think it's a good idea.

 

More people will give an incentive to actually fix some problems so I say idc get more people and put on steam. If you play RF you can deal with a toxic community, and none of the new players can really talk smack to us since we can ez them.

More people = more money = able to make better updates and game stays alive. I'm already an old ass player i just want to see the game last.

I mean they just fixed caged beast mode, trying to fix first load, and new exo + box with new exo and scroll. This is the kind of progress I want to see, now they just need a bit more money so they can start doing some real updates.

Yusuke and I are only the one who keep feed the money to redfox more than rf community.

I lost interesting this part update, so i keep money on battle for the throne to get op shet.
But I am interesting the caged beast to see if i like it or not.
