Window's 10 help Please

Hi i recently got a a window's 10 acer tower because my old one had terrible graphics. this one has good graphics just one problem like I'm on rf on wide mode but it's not showing me the full screen it's like blacked out it's on wide mode but mini rf screen help does this have something to do with the graphics resolution or what it's really irritating me.
