I think my problem, I'm not all that good at socializing in online games, I don't really put effort into speaking to people. I rather just do my own thing and watch netflix on my second monitor maybe socializing with people might help me but I would still hate to spend a week on one level for example.
Chatting with friends helped me the most in levelling, join a nice, friendly league and give it a shot
As i said grind when you have time, thats what i do. Doesn't mean you cannot get a life nobody is rushing u to lvl up. All you need is patience when u do hv time to grind. It took me 7mths for my last lvl up cos i only grind when i hv time to play. Btw at this rate i believe only less than 5 ppl in GC are still grinding. I'm not grinding much now only because i'm afraid East temple will crash and there might be no one to restart it.
Are you the one that still grinds loads of char to LM lol if so grinded with you GoD if you can tell me name of alliance & when it started give you cookies.
Eh not sure what you really mean but yes I do have many chars in the past and now in GC.. and since 2007 i'm in Guardians of Death league in Bardo, G1 and GC
I knew you was Peach..... we grind together many times... am sure have pictures of league around here somewhere Yes Bardo dear.... I miss old Bardo I do, I do.... Talisban86, Peebles, Wildman, Rahdigga, & so many more I can not even remember grinding with ahahaha!!!
Would you stay on topic mate, you go off topic in every single post. You have the most posts in this forum and half of them are completely irrelevant. I think it's way too early to even be discussing trivial changes like experiences modifiers, we first need a game.
That is also true before experience or modifiers game needs to be played am sure with KN stat's what the experience/modifier is however, you make a valid point it could be different but, would not bank on it.
I understand where you are coming from and I can see you are just eager to socialize and play but some of your replies are so over the top and unnecessary it almost comes across as organised spam. I don't know much about this 'KR version' which is why I'm so interested. Whatever the rates are I'll play, however useless the staff are I'll play - I miss Acclaim though.
crazy high xp and you`ll have Play9d all over again. crazy low xp and you wont have any thing that atracks new players here. find the balance. IMO gc rates werent bad at all. but i agree with a few guys here xp will depend allot on how long it takes to kill a mob on average and that is influenced by pretty much every stat in the game. i`d say start with GC rates and tweak it after a month if its not working.
GC exp was awful. It didnt allow to enjoy the level progression at all (the quests, get some kind immersion with the clans/roles/quests). 6 hours to reach GL from LS its ****, almost get level from doing nothing.
I dont think anyone wishes to stick to low lvls too much. All players wish to reach at least tibet map, those ones that played in lots of versions want to reach fast and test new content. We are used with low content for a decade already. Just my opinion, unless there is lots of intersting stuffs going out for low lvls in this new version that ye will change the gameplay.
Nah, I think all that Peachy is saying is that leveling very fast isn't necessary to have fun in 9d (and I agree). If you are in a nice community and you can only play for a few hours a week, those hours can be a lot of fun and act as good way to get your mind off work.
Her rate was at HG11. There are people in "the" big leagues who are over that level months ago already. And it apparently didn't take them long to get 1 level at the rate the Peachy quoted you. It sure took me long though as I don't quite have the same ultra gears. I do agree with smakdonw though. If you want ultra high xp, this is not your version. GC rate is fine.
Personally I think that the XP rate should be set per map, sort of how it is separated at GC for the East & West temples. Leveling in this game isn't the best but events SHOULD NOT feel required to play the game. If they spent a few hours setting a multiplier XP rate on each map range ( clan base/zz ~ sz/nc ~ hz/etc ) and give them appropriate XP rates, I think it would benefit the game best. The game should be based around playing without XP cards, and XP events. In my opinion there's too much relying on XP cards to get you through the most boring of levels, or waiting for an event to even use your XP cards. The cards themselves should be treated as a bonuses, and not a balancing aspect. If they were to actually up the received quest XP and give each map an appropriate XP modifier for leveling in, I think they would solve everyone's grinding problems. At this point of the game where every few years the publisher seems to change, there's no reason it should require a year+ of someones time to max a character. Especially considering you're going to be spending a TON of hours farming up the items you need to make your character worth while.
Adjusting the experience curve and setting an xp bonus on each map opposed to a flat xp increase across all maps is what PA did and it works well. Dix is correct there is too much reliance on cards and events so the game only seems to be busy during events. Increasing the quest exp should only apply to non replayable quests otherwise you risk players abusing quests. It would be nice to have a mix between questing and grinding.
The thing with XP is, I never heard of anyone stop playing 9d because the XP was too high. But I have seen so so many people stop playing because the XP was too low.
