Need some real advice on 1v1 ..

How does one getting better at 1v1? Tried getting in those "spar" rooms but all they want is beef... Also should i fight someone at my level or someone with more experience than me? Honestly though how would i get better if i keep getting killed, its like a lvl 1 vs lvl 50 (i know levels don't matter just trying to make a point), you're never going to win, its like The Warriors vs my high school basketball team, we're going to get sht on every time. Any serious tips are appreciated

Stop 1v1ing is the best way to get better at it

 

Spar rooms are honestly the worse lol, i would say just play random matches like glacier teams or third rock or something simple and you learn how to get better in due time, its how i got good i just played moon and other stuff the only thing people can really teach u is how to drift and to use slide kick other than that you can't really be taught how to play since people just have more experience and knowledge about the game

True but that's just how our community is, But by playing games with you're teams you learn about different scrolls and exos which was the point i was trying to make, you can also learn by watching some of you're teammates and anyone who trash talks in moon just ignore em they just salty, But yea man i don't know you need to learn basic stuff like all the scrolls and combos before you can bother to 1v1

Best way is to learn what your dealing against.
By that I mean scroll, delays, angles, frames, and style.

If you learn what type of scroll your fighting you'll know enders and basically when can you go in tactically.
Studying the scrolls, and plain watching your opponent gives you reading potential. You might be able to predict what they do next since 99% of fighters have a pattern just need to crack it.

Also posting a GIF requires either a link from the image itself (Click the film/mountaint iconed image in your text options) or a file size small enough to be able to be uploaded.

Np i think if you want to be good you need to be knowledgeable about the different scrolls you can be the best drifter or slide kicker in the game but if you fight something u have 0 idea what it does you may lose, since all scrolls have different moves such as delays guard break infi their juggle starters and so on

 

Don't listen to these garbage top 1000 forumers. You're going to need to tolerate whatever flame you get and stop being a pansy to get better within those spar rooms.

 

Do what i do watch better players, learn from them ,fight against them.

Go in any room see someone that is immensely better you like u can't barely take away their hp.

The best way to improve is to fight someone better then you and watch how they play and getting into the habit of reading the opponents style.
