Just curious how people perform transactions that exceed 4 billion gold (because that's the highest price I see in player stalls) What's the gold limit on a single character, and the storage? In addition, are there ways to expand them?
2^32 is the maximum value for gold in bag and storage. I you want to trade more than that buy 10 mil gold pouches from hefei storage npc and then trade for 100 mil gold pouches and so you can trade 259 billion gold in one trade.
Because with these 100m gold bags, you can have a stack of 255 bags in one slot, meaning 25.5b in one slot. In one trade you can use up to 10 slots meaning 255b is the max amount of gold in one trade. There are items worth more than 25.5b in game, that take up one slot, so technically the max amount of gold worth one can put in a trade is a lot higher, i.e. when 2 people are trading items for items.
I have a more complex question regarding gold cap in stands: Lets say a player sells an item for 5b+++ and registers it in his stand, so it automatically takes the value of cap (4.294b). My question is: if i have 4.294b gold in bag, can i buy it?
Maybe but more than likely no. If the toon has more that 0 gold then you can't buy it cause they will go over the max gold limit. Understand? Some people do that to show off what they have or sell things for 4b plus.
