Last time you came into EU was when I was leader, and guess what, you left before I even noticed your trash ass had entered the room LMAO. Why would I need other people to do it for me when I trash you and get 1st practically every game I participate in on single lmao. I am an EU player with poor internet connection. Am I NA? You can't tell, because i Lagg anyway. I know i will get kicked unless i get a real solid ISP, but my point is, that the Ping logic is NOT a solid way to tell where the player Comes from. So those guys who lagg MIGHT be NA, BUT they also might be EU with poopy internet.

But i wanted to make comment on the Topic itself: IF there are tons of games on EU Channel, there is hope. NA or not, it shows that EU is active and that might work as an Argument to get EU it's own server it so craves for. because the question is "Why to get a server for place that no one plays on." This screenshot Sadpie provided proves that people DO play and boy do they play (if we are to believe about them pages of rooms). so yeah, there is potential.

Seeing I am from Poland, I always was a victim of severe lagg issues that could never be solved. But when OGP launched it's own EU server, my ping was bearable. Hence why I am +1 for EU Server. I think that way things would get better. But I'm just a crazy ProLagger, what can I know ?

 

I think you're missing something, you can tell that only EU people are playing, because if they lag they are either NA or EU, but since almost no one is lagging, that means they are guaranteed EU. No one was complaining about lag during the time sadpie made the screenshot, so that means the majority must have been EU.

Only problem is that a EU server would still be hosted in NA and not in Europe.

 

Which is zero problem at all because as of currently it's located in NA as well and no one from EU lags except some people with bad connections. We just want our OWN server so we can FOCUS on getting A LOT of people back. We want our OWN thing, we want to call it EU server, not North America only.

I think so. The main argument seems to be that an EU server would bring back more players. I honestly don't think so but only time will tell.

 

The main reason player quit was because they lag regardless of who they are playing with (me included), opening a EU server that isn't even hosted in EU wont remove the lag lol.
