Id recommend slowly doing it if need be. I mean it only make since. Maybe every patch Convert some the items to trade able one by one. Or make an credit exchange NPC that turn credits into a use able item that can be traded. then players can exchange that item back for credit. I mean i know this game is pretty old from current game standards, But that doesn't mean it cant try to catch up to new games and their features.
