This post is so true... I've been so confused about these moderators genders... They have my brother question his sexuality.... I keep telling him he "you love girls," but he still still stuck on how he was turned on by a male moderators girl set. I don't blame him for liking 3D models, he's only 13 still young.

For the love of Osiris, please don't let our staff get too close with the community either. I'd rather you be distanced and professional than be a social butterfly and cause immature ruckuses over community drama.

No idea. Apparently people kept baiting him until he started calling them *******. Still looking for screens myself.

 

I think it should be just the opposite. Yes they should be involved with the community and socialize, but remember they have a job to do first.

 

Why do you believe that? If a staff member gets social with the community, history has shown us that it will not turn out well. Though to be fair, my post is an extremity of the point being made.

 

GC tried to be overly professional and it just didn't work out. The only exception to that was Aaron because people were aware that he had become a GM and used him to get certain perks.

Exactly. Part of that reason is because they were so distant with the community. Only time we heard anything from them was on updates. Other than that they were nearly nonexistent.

 

I don't believe staff members make the game. The mission that every publisher beyond OGPlanet is given is to rebuild this game's community. We can have events, chatty staff members and our current update system but what is all that if our player count is so low? Part of the mission of reviving this game is placed upon the shoulders of every player; that includes you and I. We can only share this game and hope that every player we refer is going to enjoy the game and continue to play.

Without the publisher and developer involvement to push out content and keep us updated, this game is not going to go much farther. That's what this truly falls down into; a partnership of the players and the staff. We can try to say socialization is key and while it is, it is only going to help to an extent.

As mentioned once before, the staff members that were following the ideal "social butterflies" (La...Bebe Rexha) resulted in an unprofessional and immature staff team on all parts. True colors to this were shown during the OGPlanet shut down last couple of days. We can then review GamesCampus which if I'm following along with what you are claiming, they only communicated for updates but then they let our RMs socialize which then fell back to OGPlanet's exemplary moderation style.
