What? Much of the database structure hasn't changed immensely, there might be some extra tables or changes to some of the procs but a lot of the structure is still the same. Acclaim was closed by Playdom, a subsidiary of Disney. The metaphorical 'vault' is complete and utter rubbish because G1 was given the database containing the character information after a bit of a legal dispute and then when G1 shut down the character information was transferred to GC. Please stop spreading false information.
That is incorrect. G1 never got the DB from acclaim. Instead we were all given "template" chars. Please stop spreading false information.
That is incorrect. After the transfer to G1 we initially began with template characters as there were legalities behind who had copyright to the database, this was resolved by 15 September when the transfer was made from G1 to GC.
stop talking nonsense we started from 0 on G1, few weeks or 1month later we got template characters and that was all,no database from acclaim
I never got my account transferred or heard of anyone else getting theirs transferred. I wonder where you are getting this info from?
The transfer from G1 to GC was our G1 template + new chars made. Not related to Acclaim as far as I remember...
