Please Scrap Gift Waiting System

The Gift waiting system is destroying the communities desire to trade
It is affecting the Economy of RF. No one wants to trade anymore because
of how long it takes to be able to gift and the Requirement to boot friends from
their lists in order to take in Potential Trades.
You all created this system for all the right reasons, but I believe the community
can collectively agree on this one, this is not helping. I think it would be better
to return to the drawing board and work on something new as a pet project until
it is ready to be implemented.

 

They're not really for trading in general, i think this was their intention all along but they are here to hear us out so i believe the 10 days will get reduced, if not taken away entirely

 

You do know redfox doesn't support trading atm so if you get scammed don't expect someone to get banned.

 

I've had 6 years to accept the possibility that I may
or may not get what I want out of a trade.
But to have the option is worth the risk if no trade system
is to be implemented in the future, minuscule chances of that
happening though.

If we want to take the gift function 10 days away, then my bzm is going to abuse you all.

If we want the trade systems, how much time did nimonix said yes? Hell ******* no.

And who tell you the 10 days gift function damaging RF's trade economy? I see no issued, cuz I feel good there's no ******* begger more. I can laugh the **** off, it be **** for them to wait 10 days have da gift from the strangers.

 

They'll be monitoring the progress of this system and will change it if it needs to be.

 

I only traded my friends, and all of my friends have been on my list for more then 10 days. This is YOUR problem, not the community's.

 

Take it down some pegs and obviously I've already stated that I know
Trade system is never coming 2 who is trading right now.
Who wants to wait 10 days for a trade?
Let alone a low amount like say the price of a name change card 350rc
no one is going to go through the trouble to wait 10 days for that.

Ya seems like this wasn't well thought out and my idea sounds better but would require more work.

allow users to accept or decline a gift but after accepting or declining the gift they would have to use their secondary pw to confirm or Authorize their option. Maybe even adding a TOS(Terms for service for using trading system in the UI box)its Kinda like the resell password to confirm reselling the items an will stop users from saying it was accident as an excuse.

Implement a flash pass that allows users to gift without any wait. Add a ToS (like you suggested) so that the user purchasing the pass understands that they are responsible for any chargebacks and will swiftly be banned should any problems occur. The player receiving a gift will be given a notice that the gift is being sent via flash pass. Accepting the gift means they are subject to a ban should there be a chargeback. They may either accept or deny the gift.

 

This sounds like a constructive
and feasible solution

and you're implying that I dont understand the reasoning
behind the 10 day wait, I understand but i think it's Overkill
have more respect for people online.

Something like Yusuke and Suite's suggestions
are clear clean cut and concise. All you're saying
is I dont care about what you think you arent helping.

Idk I think its a fine idea but 10 days seems much
5 days would be much better IMO.

 

I'd rather take the chance of being scammed rather than waiting 10 days lmao...
5 days is still hella long, I'd be okay with 2-3 days.

 

10 days Might be too long, but I am not against waiting period. I feel like that extra time you have to wait between gifting and adding can be used in some way (Discussing the details of trade, making screenshots in case of scamming, although im not sure what's RedFox policy about scammers and their victims).

But I don't trade since OGP, so dafuq do i know.
