    You see, the problem is the presence of a GM wouldn't deter or prevent a ddos attack. Even larger communities have to worry about DDoS attacks during a tournament. As I said earlier, it's unavoidable. If you were to play on a VPN, there's no guarantee that another user knew your IP beforehand or had you added on Skype. Honestly I think what would be the only solution is to make sure your subs are readily available. Also keep your logs handy.
