Recap of what happened

What you've all been waiting for... the results of the [not] so EPIC SHOWDOWN
in a stunning fashion! GodSea was able to annihilate Zasty back to his mother's uterus. Sea was close to feeling Zasty's lap but with the might of his salty nuts, Zasty was visibly distraught and begged for mercy several times during the exchange claiming GodSea as the superior player and mind. Hopefully, Zasty's embarrassing defeat will keep him respectful of the might of GodSea's hydro reign and will give him cause to gently remove himself from Sea's worn out nuts. Keep Zasty in your prayers as he recovers from a beating of proportions beyond that of the galaxy.. #PrayForZasty

[Dead Ass Compton Struggles]​

At this point everyone and their mothers are away from the countless bugs that are appearing within the BM, such as teleporting after being at a certain HP range, not being able to move for some cases, having to jump off the ledge to be able to hit mobs again, constantly dropping weapon when at low HP range, showing up as dead for other players screens in which they can spam Verda revives on you if they wanted to, and so many more to count. It's a nice and challenge BM which is something that can easily be welcomed to the community, however with all the problems that just keep occurring, as well as how long the actual thing can be. It doesn't even come close to being enjoyable after a while. What also puts the icing on the cake are the rates of the chest in order to get the main thing that most players are trying to obtain from this BM, Boxing SE. It looks to be that many players have been getting pretty unfortunate in their rates of pulling the scroll from the chest. Many players are stating that it only took them 200+ chest, which can easily be viewed to be a considerable amount of time (unless they --- ----- -- ------ -- ------) and only a very small fraction of the community even has it. We will try to keep our eyes peeled for any further updates on this BM before it leaves the game.

*Update* It appears that during the newspapers writing that there is now a Hard Mode released for the new BM. We had our team of young Adventurers test it out to see any significant changing. However, they came back to only inform us that it's just more HP mobs and the bugs still remain, untouched even. This is looking very good for the future of this BM (Until they end up removing it for the next SE scroll)

[Guardian Tournament]

It's about the time once again where we have a grand old fashion tournament, just like the old days right?. Well...It would have been easier said than done considering we didn't have to deal with this large influx of players who are able to DDoS other players effortlessly if needed to. I don't think anyone would be against having the tournament set up but with the actual problem with kicking players off the game can create so many problems to even have this held, to begin with. Some players feel like its unnecessary to even attend this tournament due to their predictions of what'll occur and not want to risk their internet on the line here. We, however, aren't stating that there will be DDoSing fever within the tournament, but there's still the possibility that it will happen, and that can't be excluded out. Supposedly from the Thread. It has listed that the type of tournament this contains three different sections. One for 1v1s, another for 2v2s, and the last one for 3v3s. All with their own restrictions and rules. It's clear that this is a really anticipated event for the community, so to have it ruined by something like DDoSing would just be devastating, yet sadly to be expected if it does come up to be a problem once this goes underway.

[Interview with RFC Winner]

We've managed to catch the winner of the RFC match, LordSea before he went to celebrate his win with a quick interview and his outtake on the whole match up til now. We had our multi-job man, Pr0dz, down on the scene to catch a word from this winner.



pr0dz: So what were your thoughts by the end of that match? Can you give us some insight on what you're thinking about now?

LordSea: Ya know that mans is never gonna recover from these nuts ever again. Tryna come up with me on that weak ****? nah man I be obliterating them all with my aquaman likeness

[Power Struggle: Yusuke vs. Toast]

There seems to be some sort of weird shift in the [GM] Moderation staffing, in where we are now seeing a [GM] from the RF Online game, [GM]Toast, moderating our hectic forums. It seems that Gourdy himself has either appeared less and less than he has before, or just don't show up at all in terms of handling the moderations now, and now certain someone in the mix feel that their already gained power over the community is now dwindling due to a new [GM] joining the party

Speak of the Devil! Looks like he'll be approaching [GM]Toast right now!



Oh god....There doesn't seem to be any way of stopping this new overtake of this [GM] now. what will happen to us now?, what has happened to Gourdy? and will things become the same again after all of this? We will try to keep you folks posted in the future events to come.​

[Steam Reviews]

A lot of talk from players before the steam release talked about how the game will revive this community and bring on a new age of players to join us. However, it doesn't seem to be as fruitful in the end once it was released. Large amounts of negative reviews and a mixed rating on Steam are usually a bad sign when going to try out a game, especially with a peak of only 32 Players once it was released out


We here at the Sad Rumble have been keeping a close eye on the current and past status of how this Steam release has been fairing for the game as a whole, and so far it doesn't seem to even make as much of a dent as most of us had expected it to in the past. It appears that we may be stuck in this sort of rut with the game's last bit of exposing outside the community (Since it doesn't seem to have ads on other websites anymore), and we might just be stuck with the same old community, only slowly decrease as more and more of us continue to quit. Only time will tell and we will make sure to keep an eye on this Steam version of the game.

[Death of Signature Shops]

Ever since the ban of having a Signature back on GameCampus, Signature Shops haven't quite been the same since. Most could also say that the transfer from OGP to GC could have also damaged the lack of them, but with the banning of signatures as a whole finally placed a nail in the coffin. If you go on to look at the current status of the Signature Shop thread, or any of the other sections of the Creative Corner. You could only ever find at max 2 players holding an Active Signature shop maybe once every 6 months or so. It really is something disappointing to look at as Signature Shops had brought some life to the art section before. We aren't stating that it's the main thing people who go to the Creative Corner and mostly there since many other players are great artist themselves. It just feels like losing a part of the game's community itself, and it's really hard to see it come back after this now.

[Snarky Remarks into Full Exposures]

This is a bit of a late entry within our newspaper, but it couldn't be left out of the mix. Apparently in our latest update for the game. Supposedly it started off as a bit of a beef war between Players, Mitsuke and Yusuke, which resulted in the ******* blowout of Mitsuke when exposed to his lies about being rich and being [GM]Musiq. Hell, even Player EvilMarvin came into the mix and EVISCERATED the man by exposing his awful private server that he himself is self-voting up on a site that shows off your servers of games. It didn't end there when Player, Myrus joined the fray and revealed videos of some very shady dealings of "Lag" being portrayed in them. The whole thing just turned into a Late Night Drama Fever at that point.

Oh man! the look on Gourdy's face when he came back to the thread after reviewing the update. Must have been rough.

[Account Thefts]
So far players seem to either be falling for the basic of traps from other players in terms of them being let on their accounts from either "Account Trades" or "Sharing Account", while other methods like malicious links in order to obtain information. Franky this has been a MORBIDly bad situation and we'll be looking into the whole account theft scene for more information

Oh my god! It looks like the actions are taking place right now for an unfortunate soul. Let's observe this careful so we don't get stuck between this.

[What keeps you playing?]

A ton of threads in the past and threads that will be coming up in the future have asked many players on what keeps them playing this game again and again. It's understandable really when threads like these are made because it's usually by players who want to either find a new way of enjoying the game or a way back into bringing back their love for a game that has so much potential but isn't using it at all. Generally speaking, most of the responses we've gathered from these threads are that players just seem to have more fun playing with the friends they've already made in the game, while other really just enjoyed the mechanics of how this game is set up to make it as enjoyable as it possibly can be. You can easily say you hate everything this game is and hate everyone here but it's hard to really deny that you don't enjoy how the game is played. Unless we've got some masochistic players.

[New Member in the Cut]

Just like we stated before folks. We are having an additional member join the Sad Rumble Newspaper!

The whole team has been deciding on adding an additional member to the group for a good while now and had a large handful of great candidates to choose from both on the forums and in the game. However, we all felt that we could only allow just one member to join the Agency (For now) and overall we feel that this person deserves that shot to prove to you their stuff....
