I received a weird email from a RedfoxgamingRF@gmail.com saying that I need to put all of my login information and send it. Is this real? The gmail.com is making me hesitant.
My second problem is that they asked for my password, which RedFox GMs explicitly say, they will never ask for your password and email, because they already have it on file.
I was in a skype call with a friend who received the same email and got his account frozen, so I'm really unsure of what to do right now.
Legit Redfox emails are from customerservice@playredfox.com for general support (like buying RC) or rumblefighter@redfox.freshdesk.com for GM emails and ticket updates. It's some kid trying to phishing scam you yo. Edit: Redfox wouldn't need your first and last, phone number or login. They explicitly state that they'll never ask for your username and password, a legit one would probably just ask for the last 4 of your credit card number, or the e-mail address of your paypal or something for any purchases made. Nothing as blatantly scam-y as this.
RedFox would never ask you for your private details of your account. Never trust things like this, the people before who said is legit are the same people that sent you this e-mail. Report them or something because they were attempting to scam you from your account.
Well yeah, I guess. After all this is their game and they could do anything with our accounts if they wanted/had to. But they would have access to them nevertheless, they could only ask for your IGN or something to confirm if that's the person they need.
