Only if you can be approve to teaching kids who want to learning more than 100 languages. but ima sure you gonna say American Sign Language are not actual language. What do you think American Sign Language? Are they really language or not really language? Why do you think that? I speak four language( actually five language because I included Humo Language) in current.
Not sure what I am going on about? You said Major in linguistics means you are studying the scientific of languages. I told you take other major because i know you cant. See that's why you cant be a linguistics. Go find a deaf person and learn how to communicate with them then tell me what is ASL again. All of you and all human are forbidden to communicate with the nature such as communicating with spirit, dead spirit, or even God. Still you wont be a linguistics af. take other major that is useful for you :>
If i wanted to communicate with a deaf person I would have to learn sign language! The words may not come out of our mouths but that doesn't mean it's not a language! I don't believe knowing how to communicate with deaf people without a pen and paper is a requirement tbh!
Finally af. speaking in da voice language and speaking in hand language such as sign language are actual language af. even a pen and paper is a language too! Now next Ouija? :> actually ima joke about Ouija, dont do it.
