Hi there fellow Rumble Fighters, Does anyone know how to get rid of these annoying black bars whenever you're NOT in-game? Because when I start a game, they disappear, but once I'm done, they come back. I couldn't find any solutions to this problem. Thanks in advance, Klyde
What operating system are you using? I’m assuming windows 10, but would like my assumption to be confirmed. Are you playing in full screen or windowed mode? What is your resolution set as, both for your monitor and your in game setting?
My OS is Windows 10. I’m playing Full screen. My resolution both screen and in-game are 1280 x 720. I’m at work at the moment, but as soon as I get back home I’ll send you a screenshot of my issue.
I know of the issue, I’ve seen it before. I believe the reason behind this, is the fact that even though RF just had a resolution update, any screen that isn’t involving actual gameplay (lobby, shop, my info, etc) is still stuck in the old resolution which is 800x600 or so. I play in windowed mode, it actually makes the graphics look a lot better, on 1920x1080 settings all around. The game auto full screens when I’m experiencing actual game play, then returns to the 800x600 native resolution when on other screens in RF. I would say try window mode out. I don’t have black bars on the side, and also run windows 10 which this issue is most commonly experienced on
Let me know if the issue still occurs. Like I said before, I haven’t had that issue. If it still occurs, I’ll look further into it.
Well, I tried doing window mode, but the game stays in window mode when I enter the game. How do I make it go fullscreen once I start the game? Or do you keep it windowed?
Hello everyone. How do you run the game in full screen as my client defaults to a windowed 1080p resolution with a black title bar above and an impossible to see experience bar. P.S. wrong section (this question refers to RFO)
Hi Hi Starberry, I feel stupid saying this, but I posted in the wrong section. I had an issue with RF Online, not with Rumble Fighter. Thank you for answering and so sorry to have bothered you with this trivial matter. Have fun!
