Ridiculous Ten Day Gifting Rule

This rule is extremely inconvenient. If I meet old friends who I want to gift or they want to gift me we cant. Another reason this rule is annoying is that when a friend on my buddielist gets glitched I cant message them unless I re add them. So lets say I wanted to give them something, they cant tell me what they want, and they wont know that I'm going to gift them. I couldn't tell them unless I deleted them or readded them. I think the idea behind it is to prevent trading, but if scamming is not punishable this already strongly discourages trading.
Another problem with the rule. My friend just tried to gift me who I have had added for over a year, yet it wont work because of a bug with the rule. I hope the rule gets either changed to a smaller time frame. or completely removed altogether. I hear of many players complaining about this a lot. The game has gone on for 10 years without this rule I think it should still go on without this rule.

Yeah we know. They don't plan to remove it anytime soon though, even after all the negative feedback from the community. That's how they do things. They want feedback, we give them feedback, they don't change anything.

 

Why not gift your friend a game card or tell him the code off a game card for RC?

That's your damnit choice. If you have no idea what bzm is. then stay 10 days gifting rule.

 

This a good way to work around the glitch or bug. Its just unfortunate that he already spent $10 on rumble fighter to try and gift me.

But this isn't a trade system, this is a gift system... and RedFox just made it extremely inconvenient... nothing more.

 

But people use the gift system to trade.

 

Their problem, it's still not a trade system, it's their fault if they get scammed.
Gift system shouldn't have suffered because of people who trust the first guy that says ''I have RC/Carat... wanna trade?''

 

has every one forgotten why the 10 day thing was added
not because of scamming or trades but because of fraudulent gifting
people were gifting items paid for through hacks and items bought by currency that was going to be intentionally charged back

the system was placed in an effort to combat this
that being said its still a stupid ass system
just require the person be on your friend list
screw the 10 days

 

Then they can just make it 3 days, that's more than enough time to discover a stolen credit card.
