Lost Saga will always hold a special place in my heart. It was my first online MMO where I reached the top and felt majorly accomplished, especially when I hit Admiral without using farming rooms.
The only aspect of the game I hate is mules. The meta kinda sucks right now.

People on here complain of certain things being OP. Okay sure go ahead but at least in this game you can stand some sort of chance, you start up lost saga and well....

For visual aid and a very very small taste of Lost Saga:

 

It's not that bad, it's actually extremely successful in Korea. It's so successful that they can hand out perm heroes and gear left and right every day and be fine financially. Gameplay wise, it's really hard to compete at a high level, it took me a long time before I could, and I'm only like, top 100. The community is actually amazing. My friend accidentally said a racial slur in a shout, and over 50 people added him telling him to not bring offensive language into the game.

 

Yeah, that's lost saga's main problem
Not very newb friendly.
But, they do have a system that keeps new players fighting new players.
Only way a player can intrude a room with a lower skill level/rank is if they're invited by someone in the room.
Therefore, new players are not faced up against people such as in the video, but they can if they want by joining one of their rooms. (A lower level skilled player can see higher level skilled player rooms and join, but a higher level skilled player can't join a lower level skilled players room)

I'd say the in-game community is fine and is mainly friendly...UNTIL you hit the higher ranked players and then any sort of common ground of just playing nice with each other is ignored. Oh it also doesn't help that the game has a semi pay wall. And the voice of NA community is completely ignored by KLS devs and almost non-existent. The forums are just as bad but are moderated by decent players so its fine there too but the flames never seem to stop however.
