GMs, how do you feel about macros

Personally, I use macros to distract people in my battles.
Fun to see people react...but I do feel like a jerk when they start getting agitated.
Almost feels like I used Swagger (Pokemon move)

 

RedFox does not support the use of keyboard macros as they are 99% of the time used as an unfair advantage over other players.

 

I'll keep it in mind as long as that is what they say.

By keyboard macros aren't they referring not to programs you have to install? Not keyboards designed with macro functions?

If you bought a mouse/keyboard where you can edit and push macros through them, then you have all the rights to use them. They are publicly sold as products and they were born to be used. But if you meant in game macros /rest all day.

 

Yes I meant gaming peripherals which have those exact functions. Like my next laptop will have that and if I said I was not going to macro, then I'd be a liar.

 

What macros do you need on RF that would use these peripherals hmm? This isnt league or dota where you NEED macros
The macros here are cancer and serve no purpose but "Muh fingers are too slow i cant do it"
Practice the key functions, doesnt matter tho since they patched most of the glitches anyways

 

Well it's a laptop in general. Razer blade. So it comes with it.

Every single mechanical thing you could think of on 3 buttons can be achieved theres no kiting/orbwalking/dashing thru objects

Well I can do it without macroing but what's wrong with making it a one button push with minimal effort?
